Cookie Policy

Effective date: June 14, 2026. Written in plain English to describe how SwingVantage uses cookies today.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies (such as localStorage and pixels) work in comparable ways. They can keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and help us understand how the product is used.

2. We are cookie-light by default

SwingVantage is built to use as few cookies as possible. We run no advertising cookies and we do not sell your data. Before you create an account, most of your data lives only in your browser's local storage and is not sent to our servers.

3. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary: required to sign you in, keep your session secure, and remember essential settings. These are always on because the product cannot work without them.
  • Preferences: remember choices like language, theme, and your cookie-consent decision itself.
  • Analytics & performance (consent-gated): help us understand which features are used and where the product can improve. These load only when permitted by your consent choice (see Section 4). Where possible we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
  • Advertising: none. We do not place ad-targeting cookies.

4. Your choices and consent

We ask for consent in a way that respects your region. In the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland (and where your region is unknown), non-essential cookies are off until you opt in. Elsewhere, you can opt out at any time.

You can change your decision whenever you like using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page. You can also control or clear cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the app from working.

5. Third-party services

Some cookies are set by trusted third parties that help us run the service — for example, our cloud authentication and hosting providers, and the consent-gated analytics described above. These providers process data under their own privacy terms. For more detail on how we handle data overall, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Do Not Track

Our analytics integration is configured to respect browser “Do Not Track” signals where supported, in addition to the consent controls above.

7. Changes & contact

We may update this policy as the product changes; we will update the effective date above when we do. Questions? Email privacy@swingvantage.com.

This policy describes our current practices in plain English. We recommend independent legal review before scaling or collecting data from users in regulated jurisdictions.
