Strikeout Recovery

Drop the at-bat before you take the field or sit down.

The routine

  1. 1Take one useful note (pitch, timing, approach).
  2. 2Breathe out and physically set the bat down.
  3. 3Tell yourself the next at-bat is a clean sheet.
  4. 4Shift fully to your next job (defense or dugout focus).

Cues

“Note it, leave it.”
Breath pattern
One long exhale as you set the bat down.
