Frequently asked

What causes a slice?

A clubface that points to the right of the swing path at impact (for a right-hander) puts sidespin on the ball, curving it away from target. Grip, setup, and path are the usual contributors.

What is the fastest way to reduce a slice?

For many golfers, checking the grip comes first — a grip that is too weak makes squaring the face hard. Make one change, then retest. Follow your own report if it names a different cause.
