One Fix to Try First

A safe, high-yield first change most slicers benefit from.

Check the grip

Before anything athletic, look at your grip. A grip that is too weak (hands rotated toward the target) makes it very hard to square the face in time. Strengthening it slightly is often the fastest slice reducer.

Make the change, hit a small bucket focused only on that, then retest. If your report named a different cause, follow the report — this is the common starting point, not a universal answer.

Key takeaways

  • A too-weak grip is a frequent, fixable slice cause.
  • Change one thing, then retest.
  • Defer to your own report when it names a different cause.
