Today — Launchpad
Also known as: Today, launchpad
The Today launchpad is SwingVantage's daily entry screen that presents three prioritized cards — Focus (what to work on), Practice (the drill to do), and Retest (how to confirm improvement) — so every session starts with a clear direction.
Rather than dumping you into a dashboard full of options, Today distills everything down to three questions: what is your priority issue right now, what should you practice today, and how will you know if it worked? The cards are generated from your latest analysis, progress history, and the current phase of your practice plan. If you haven't uploaded a swing recently, Today prompts you to record one so it can give you fresh direction.
Example
Today card for a golfer: Focus — 'Reduce early extension (Critical)'; Practice — '20 reps wall-hip drill'; Retest — 'Film 5 irons after drills, target hip angle at impact.'
Why it matters
Starting a session without a goal is the most common form of wasted practice time. Today eliminates that decision.

- RetestA retest is a short follow-up protocol attached to each recommendation — how many shots, which metrics, and what counts as success — that confirms whether a fix actually worked.
