All SwingVantage updates — page 5
Every update we've published, in order — 1202 so far.
- Trimming from the guided recorder, or from a clip Motion Lab kept for you, is now kept when you analyze — only the rep you chose is read
- If you leave Motion Lab while a swing is being analyzed and come back, you now see its progress (or what went wrong) instead of starting over
- Your plan and progress page no longer call scores "improvement" until a retest confirms it
- Coming back mid-plan now takes you straight to today's practice for your fix, or back to a clip that hadn't finished analyzing
- If you leave Motion Lab while your swing is still being analyzed, coming back now picks it up where it is instead of starting over
- When a retest can't be compared with the clip your plan started from, you can now make your new clip the starting point and keep working on the same fix
- After a complete sign-out, anything you save on that browser before signing in again now comes with you into your next account
- Swing sync is now your own choice on a shared device. Signing in on a browser someone else used no longer turns it on for you.
- On a shared computer, automatic backups to a file or folder now belong to whoever set them up
- When your swing analysis finishes, the result now opens without a leftover notice covering your video
- The "Add to home screen" prompt no longer covers the navigation bar at the bottom of the app on phones
- On smaller phones, your swing result now opens on the finding itself; the video panel docks only once you scroll past it
- Turning your phone sideways now shows your swing video while you read your result, instead of filling the screen with menus
- Every phase name on the Motion Phases bar now reads in full instead of being cut off
- After you close the "Add to home screen" reminder, it now stays away for 14 days
- On phones, reminders at the bottom of the screen now sit fully above the navigation bar
- The Motion Lab page no longer shows an empty sample box
- Arabic and Urdu pages now use one clear Arabic typeface on every device
- The section list beside a Motion Lab result now always highlights the part you are reading
- When the Motion Phases bar has more phases than fit, its edge now fades to show there is more, and picking a phase scrolls it into view
- Saved reports replay available video on your device, and retest reminders follow your current plan
- A quick check-in helps you find your next step if you get stuck getting started
- Training consent details stay with your account, and withdrawal status now shows when shared videos are still being removed
- Your dashboard keeps your saved fix consistent as you practice and retest
- Improved page stability when signing in or changing cookie preferences
- The home-screen install prompt now stays at the bottom of your screen
- Retests now use the same video upload and recording steps as your swing analysis
- Add SwingVantage to your home screen with clearer instructions and a reminder on each visit
- Keep a clearer record of your fix, practice and retest, with unknowns shown honestly
- Your dashboard keeps your current practice focus clear
- The studio has less to load when you open it, and saved analyses stay available
- Your golf tempo is graded again, now timed from where your hands really start back and reach the top
- Swing results now use plain, everyday words by default, with a Detailed mode in Settings for more numbers and technical terms
- Your 3D avatar now leads the swing replay, so you see the full motion first
- Fixed the Motion Lab mode bar so the selected view no longer runs off the edge of the screen on phones
- Fixed Club frame by frame so the picture now changes as you step through frames
- Your analysis report now shows the same charts as the PDF — a score shape chart, strongest and focus areas, and clear target ranges for each measurement
- Motion Lab no longer tells you to turn more when a video filmed from behind the ball can't measure your turn reliably
- Your account now switches to dark mode automatically after 7pm — you can turn this off in Themes
- Toggle switches are now easy to see when they're turned off, in every theme
- Motion Lab now reads slow-motion videos correctly — choose "Slo-mo 120 fps" or "Slo-mo 240 fps" when you upload one, and your timing, tempo and speeds are measured in real time
- Shoulder and hip turn readings from face-on golf videos are now cross-checked against what the camera sees, so a misread turn is no longer given to you as your one fix
- The estimated contact point on your swing video is now a labeled marker in your sport's color, instead of a red ring that looked like a fault
- Your results now describe confidence in plain words (High, Moderate or Low) instead of percentages
- Tempo is now read from longer slow-motion golf videos with a long address before the swing, and a video whose playback speed changes mid-swing no longer produces a false tempo fix
- When the camera angle makes a shoulder or hip turn reading uncertain, the reading now says so and shows lower confidence
- Swing replays now keep moving through the moments the camera did not capture, clearly marked as illustrated rather than tracked
- The 3D swing figure now stands on the ground where your feet were and moves its arms and legs smoothly between tracked moments
- When an analysis can't finish, the message now says plainly whose side the problem is on: your clip, your device, your connection or ours
- When a shoulder or hip turn cannot be read reliably, the readings built from it are no longer scored or given to you as your one fix
- Range of motion on a golf full swing is now shown for reference rather than graded, so it can no longer be given to you as your one fix
- Your golf tempo is still shown, but it is no longer graded or given to you as your one fix while we verify how it is timed
- You can now record a swing straight from the start page, and on your phone the + button lists every way to bring a swing in: record, upload, add your data, or get a plan without video
- The example 3D swing keeps its arms and club clear of the body from every angle
- The hand path in Motion Lab now traces your hands through the whole swing instead of breaking off where the club wasn't visible
- The energy-transfer card in Motion Lab now shows which part of your body peaked first, second and third, so the sequence score is easy to read
- When Motion Lab can't tell your shot shape from a video, it now says so and keeps the club you chose instead of guessing
- Motion Lab now recognises full swings filmed from behind the ball instead of mistaking them for shorter shots
- Text boxes and dropdowns now have clearer outlines, so they're easier to spot and fill in
- The tennis serve recording guide now asks you to hold still for a second before your toss, so your turn and separation read on every clip
