All SwingVantage updates — page 6

Every update we've published, in order — 1202 so far.

  1. Turn on "Dark at night" in theme settings to switch to the dark theme automatically from 7pm to 7am
  2. The 3D swing avatar now shows the realistic athlete body on every clip, and the parts your camera missed are shaped by how you moved in your earlier swings, getting closer to you the more swings you record
  3. The example 3D swing now shows a clean, solid figure holding the club with both hands from address to finish
  4. Motion Lab's playback speed, loop and overlay buttons now clearly show which option is switched on
  5. Golf tempo is now timed from your takeaway to the top and from the top to impact, so trimming a clip no longer changes it; other swings skip tempo until they can be timed the same way
  6. Glossary definitions are now easier to read, with shorter sentences and plain-English explanations of technical terms
  7. New mental routines: a 15-second refocus for when your mind drifts, a post-session reflection, an on-deck routine for hitters, and a dink-patience reset for pickleball — and every feeling you name in the mental coach now leads to a reset that fits it
  8. Your dashboard, reports and Motion Lab summary now show the same fix and the same confidence
  9. Every part of your Motion Lab result now coaches the same one fix
  10. Motion Lab now coaches each sport in its own words, and "what to feel" always matches your fix
  11. Tennis, baseball and softball fixes now tell you exactly what to feel
  12. Pickleball and padel fixes now tell you exactly what to feel
  13. Your level from the quick start now fills in your golf profile automatically, so your analysis is pitched at the right level from day one
  14. After a golf analysis, one tap tells us your level so your coaching and targets fit your game
  15. When you open a result for another sport, the app now shows that sport, and your dashboard no longer says you have no sessions after a video analysis
  16. Your retest now opens as soon as you've logged three practice days — no hidden button to find
  17. When you film your retest in Motion Lab, your plan now records the result — and if the read isn't clear enough, you can simply film it again
  18. The site's top menu now sits neatly on one line on laptop and desktop screens instead of splitting labels across two lines
  19. The sidebar now shows each sport's own mark instead of an emoji
  20. Long choices in dropdown menus now stay on one tidy line on phones, and open lists fit your screen
  21. The sport badge on your Today plan now shows your sport's own mark instead of an emoji
  22. You can open your older saved swings from your history again, even when their replay is no longer stored on this device
  23. The swing plane view now draws a shoulder-plane line next to the club's plane line, and both adjust automatically to the club you pick — flatter for a driver, steeper for a wedge
  24. Today's practice card now explains why a drill was picked in plain language instead of showing technical notes
  25. The "Start today's plan" button on your Plan now takes you straight to today's drills
  26. Baseball and softball pitching, throwing, fielding and slap-hit clips no longer get a hitting-swing fix as their One Fix
  27. Baseball and softball swing reports no longer suggest golf-style path drills, and a retest now only compares clips of the same shot
  28. Your practice plan now asks how many days a week you want to train, and builds your week around your answer
  29. New quick mental resets for waiting on slow play in golf, misreading a ball off the glass in padel, and moments of golf frustration, overthinking, or fear of a repeat mistake in baseball and softball — with the shortest resets now shown first
  30. Your dashboard now asks one quick profile question at a time, shows how to film a usable swing before your first recording, and tracks session milestones at 1, 3, 5 and 10 — and analyzed swing videos now count toward them
  31. Analyzing a full practice recording now has its own clear spot on Motion Lab's first screen, separate from single-clip upload
  32. The Motion Lab setup screen is shorter — after you pick your sport and shot, the how-it-works explainer is tucked into a single expandable row instead of repeating the step you just finished
  33. Golf full swings where shoulder turn is your one fix now come with a picture of the fix from above — a fuller turn if yours stops short, or stopping at a full turn if you turn past it
  34. Your one fix now also shows coaching pictures for the other things your golf swing analysis flagged — including a new picture for hips that slide instead of turn
  35. Your 3D swing replay now plays for every video, even dark, blurry or partly out-of-frame ones, and clearly marks which moments were tracked and which are filled in
  36. The golf example in your 3D replay now swings its hands up over the shoulder and back through impact the way a real golfer does
  37. Each new analysis now brings a fresh drill for the same fix, so you are not handed the same drill every time
  38. Every swing flaw now has a deep library of drills, so each new analysis brings a fresh drill for the same fix
  39. Filming setup now shows a picture of where to put your phone for golf and pickleball, and more fixes come with a labeled diagram of what to change
  40. Golf swing plane is now one clean line at your club's plane angle, running from the floor up through your hands, so you can see whether your backswing and downswing sit above or below it
  41. Golf swing plane detail now reads where your hands went against the plane line, and a Tracked lines view builds your club's plane from your own clubhead taps
  42. Baseball and softball players who film from the side now get a coaching picture for casting, hips that stall, and a front shoulder that opens early
  43. When you share your progress card, anyone you send it to can now open it without an account
  44. Launch monitor imports now read spin data correctly, so slice and hook diagnoses from those files are more accurate
  45. Baseball and softball players who film from the side now also get a coaching picture when the head moves, when they stand up through the swing, or when the hips and shoulders turn together
  46. Tapping "View result" when your swing analysis finishes now takes you straight to your 3D breakdown
  47. Swing plane detail now says plainly when no club plane could be measured, and keeps your plane line even when club tracking is unreliable
  48. Your swing video now loads by itself in the analysis — no more tapping "Retry video"
  49. Motion Lab's hand path now explains its dashed line correctly instead of calling hands it saw "not observed"
  50. Swing plane now lets you step through every frame of your golf swing against the plane line, and the line adjusts automatically when your camera is tilted or slightly off your target line
  51. The hand path in your swing analysis is now easier to read — backswing and downswing are drawn in different colors, with your start and top positions marked
  52. The FAQ now answers more than 200 questions across every sport — how to film, what video can and cannot measure, One Fix, retesting, privacy and accounts — with search and direct links into Motion Lab
  53. Your swing report is shorter and more focused: the repeated score and replay were removed, and detailed movement data now sits under your main issue
  54. When you mark the clubhead on your swing video, you now see how many marks are left before your club path is drawn, and the Mark button is no longer hidden behind the help buttons on phones
  55. The swing plane line now fits your own setup once you mark the clubhead at address, and marking the clubhead works on the way down as well as the way back
  56. You can now pick Fairway Wood or Hybrid when recording a golf swing, so your swing plane is checked against the right club
  57. On phones, the AI Coach and Guide buttons now step aside while you scroll, and pages leave room so nothing stays hidden behind them
  58. The 3D avatar in your swing report is now a solid, shaded mannequin instead of a stick figure
  59. Golf swings where head stability is your one fix now come with a coaching picture of the fix, drawn from the front or from behind to match how you filmed
  60. The club path read now shows your clubhead trace over your own video frame, with honest gaps where the club could not be seen — and no longer reports a contact point or a direction it has not established
