What Each Metric Means
- Exit Velocity (mph)

- Vertical angle the ball leaves the bat. Optimal range for hard-hit balls is 10–25°.
- Bat Speed (mph)
- Speed of the barrel through the hitting zone at contact. Contributes to exit velocity.
- Hard Hit Rate (%)
- Percentage of batted balls above the hard-hit threshold. Better metric than batting average for contact quality.
