Situational Hitting

- Becoming. As a result, focused on situational execution that zone discipline collapses. This means expanding the zone to swing at balls. This is because "the runner needs to score" and producing strikeouts or weak contact
- Not communicating with the third-base coach on a sacrifice fly opportunity, swinging for the gap rather than lifting a ball deep enough to score the runner
- Failing to adjust between plate appearances in the same game. This means a situational approach in the third inning should be updated based on what the pitcher has shown in subsequent innings
