深远发球

深远发球是指落在对手发球区靠近或接近底线位置的发球，迫使接球方站得离厨房线更远，给发球方更多时间推进。
深度是匹克球发球中最重要的品质。一记落在中场的短发球很容易被进攻，还能让接球方上前站到有利位置回球。一记深远发球会迫使接球方后撤一步，降低其冲向球网的能力，增加软弱、偏高回球的可能——这种球发球方能更好地用第三球放小球来应对。把深度与旋转或速度变化结合起来，能给接球方制造额外的问题。
在匹克球发球中实现稳定的深度，主要是弹道的问题——而不是力量的问题。打得过于平直的发球往往会落短，而带有轻微向上弹道和适当速度的发球，则能可靠地到达发球区的后三分之一。尝试用一个越网两到三英尺、落地深远的适中弧线，正是球员在不依赖最大力量的情况下培养出可重复的深远发球的方式。

Aim to clear the net by at least two feet on your serve — the extra arc naturally carries the ball deeper without requiring extra pace.
Track your deep serve percentage across a session and set a target of landing eighty percent or more in the back third of the service box. This means make depth a measurable serve goal, not just an intention.

Common mistakes
- Serving too flat in an effort to add pace, causing the ball to drop into mid-court rather than reaching the baseline
- Hitting a deep serve that bounces high rather than staying low, giving the returner a comfortable attacking height
- Focusing only on depth and ignoring placement, so all deep serves go predictably to the same zone
- Reducing depth by serving conservatively to avoid faults rather than trusting a moderate arc that reaches the back third
