With a runner on third and less than two outs, your job is to get the ball in the air to the outfield. This means any fly ball deep enough scores the run. Don't try to do more than needed.
Develop a two-strike approach that shortens your swing slightly and centers your contact point. This means protecting the plate with two strikes is about making contact, not hitting home runs.
