How it shows up on video

The ball's path will show multiple direction changes between the pitcher and plate.
Common mistakes
- Inadvertently adding wrist snap that introduces spin and kills the flutter effect
- Releasing too far from the body or at an uneven height, causing the ball to float too high or spike too low
- Overusing it as a novelty without practicing blocking with the catcher, leading to passed balls
