Definition

Pitch location is waar in (of buiten) de strike zone de werpster de bal plaatst — de combinatie van horizontaal kwadrant en verticale hoogte die een pitch effectief of raakbaar maakt.

Choose one target quadrant per bullpen session and throw 20 consecutive pitches aimed only there — location precision comes from deliberate repetitive practice, not random pitching.

Map your location tendency by count. This means most pitchers have quadrant biases on 0-2 and 3-1 that experienced hitters exploit. Identify and break those patterns with film review.

Hitters's weight shift and contact quality will show whether the pitcher successfully attacked all four quadrants — balanced contact reports indicate poor location variety. Repeated pitches in the same quadrant will show the hitter settling into a read pattern.
