捕手预备目标

捕手预备目标是指在投球前设定的手套位置和落点，为投手提供一个清晰、稳定的瞄准点，并传达预定的球路落点。
每一球投出之前，捕手都会摆出一个姿势，通过held一个稳定的手套目标，向投手清楚展示预定的落点——内角、外角、高方还是低方。一个清晰、提前设好、不移动的目标，能在整个投球动作中给投手一个固定的参照点；而一个设晚了、动得太早或不清晰的目标，会迫使投手在最后一刻仓促调整，往往因此损失定位的精准度。
设定目标也涉及一些针对二垒跑垒员的隐蔽技巧，因为他们可能在偷看落点暗号——经验丰富的捕手会变化亮出目标的时机，或使用带有伪装性的预备姿势，专门用来防止跑垒员把落点信息传给打者。除了单纯展示球该投向哪里之外，捕手的预备姿势还包括身体位置（重心、站位宽度、放松而稳定的重心基础），这些同样需要在整个投球过程中保持稳定，目标才不会随着投手开始动作而漂移。

How it shows up on video
On video, a good setup shows the target established early and held completely still through the pitcher's delivery. A poor setup shows the catcher moving the glove late. This shifts position as the pitcher begins the windup, or presenting a target. As a result, far off the intended location that the pitcher has no honest aiming point.
Common mistakes
- Moving the target late or right as the pitcher begins the delivery, giving no honest window to actually aim at the intended spot
- Setting up so far off the true intended location (to disguise pitch calls) that the pitcher no longer has a useful reference point
- Failing to hold a stable base through the pitch, causing the target to drift even without an intentional late move
