백스핀 콘택트는 배럴 궤적이 살짝 위로 향한 각도로 공의 중심에서 아랫부분 쪽을 정확히 맞히는 것으로, 공이 더 멀리 뻗어나가고 라인드라이브 궤적을 유지하도록 돕는 회전을 만든다.
