双打换位（Switch）

换位是一种双打动作，搭档交换场地两侧——一人越位去覆盖另一人够不到的球——需要立即的口头沟通以避免相撞。
当一记球把一名球员拉得太宽、以至于其搭档必须覆盖被让出的一侧时，就会发生换位。例如，如果右侧球员为了一次erne尝试全力冲向右侧宽处，左侧搭档就必须滑动去覆盖右半场。换位必须在动作开始的那一刻大声喊出来——“换位！”——而且双方球员都必须信任并投入到新的排列中。换位之后，搭档会根据这一回合的比分，决定是重置回原来的位置，还是留在新的排列中。
换位的决定，必须在前来接球的球员触球之前做出并沟通清楚——而不是之后。当球已经在飞行中、才晚一步喊出换位，会让负责补位的搭档没有时间到位。做出触发换位的横向移动的球员，有责任尽早、清晰地喊出来，让搭档有一到两秒的时间在下一球到达之前做出反应。
换位之后，双方球员必须决定是留在新的排列中，还是重置回原来的位置。如果换位是由一次erne尝试触发的，负责覆盖被让出一侧的搭档，至少应该在接下来的这一次来回中保持这个位置，因为立即返回错误的一侧会重新打开这个空档。如果换位是由一次宽球覆盖决策造成的、而不是一次主动出击，双方搭档就应该在一到两个来回内，有意识地重新调整回原来的位置。
Call switch the moment you start moving wide. This means not when you reach the ball. This means. As a result, your partner has the maximum time to cover your vacated side.
After a switch, explicitly decide whether you stay in the new alignment or return to original positions. This means naming the decision out loud prevents both partners from on its own choosing opposite options.

Common mistakes
- Calling switch after the ball is already in flight, leaving the partner no time to cover the vacated side
- Switching positions without calling it verbally, causing both players to move to the same side
- Resetting to original positions immediately after a switch and re-opening the gap before the rally stabilizes
- Not communicating about who takes balls during the switch transition, creating a seam at mid-switch timing
