推球(Push)
推球笔直飞出,最终落在你瞄准点的右侧(对右打球手而言)。球没有任何弯曲——杆头在触球时只是单纯地朝右侧运动,而杆面也指向同一方向。
高尔夫中的推球(有时也称为“笔直推球”)是指球起始就偏向目标右侧(对右打球手而言),并沿着相当笔直的路线继续偏右飞行——不像切球那样带有弯曲,也不像阻滞球那样偏右更多。与切球(起始偏左、随后向右弯曲)或阻滞球(起始偏右、随后又略微更偏右)不同,推球沿着一条笔直的路线飞行,只是这条路线本身瞄错了方向。理解D-平面模型有助于解释原因:推球来自一条由内而外的球杆路径,加上一个与路径相匹配的杆面角度(相对路径而言方正,但指向目标右侧)。
推球的力学成因通常是以下两种模式之一。第一种是强劲的由内而外路径,配合一个相对路径而言方正的杆面(因此指向右侧)。这种情况发生在球手正努力消除勾球、有意held住打开的杆面时,这与由内而外的路径结合,产生了推球。第二种是一次卡顿、受阻的下杆,后侧身体未能正确打开让位,球杆路径向右侧脱出——这在更强壮、运动能力更强的球员中较为常见,他们的身体旋转力量强劲,但手臂和球杆却落在了旋转的后面。
推球与拉球(起始偏左、飞向左侧)以及推切球(起始偏右、随后进一步向右弯曲)是不同的。推球的存在,说明杆面至少大致相对路径方正——只是需要让路径本身变得更中性,而不是由内而外。持续打出推球的球手,往往已经接近一个良好的挥杆,只需要做出微小的路径调整,而不需要进行根本性的大改造。
If you push shots reliably, check your finish. This means a push often produces a finish where your arms swing out to the right and your belt buckle does not fully rotate to face the target. Focus on rotating your entire body through impact. As a result, your belt buckle faces the target at the finish. This means this fuller rotation typically eliminates the stuck-arms pattern that causes pushes.
Use a launch monitor to check your club path number. This means a consistent positive path (e.g., +4° to +8°) combined with a face angle that is near zero relative to path (but positive relative to target) is the signature of a push. Reducing the path toward neutral (+1° to +2°). At the same time, maintaining face control typically resolves persistent push patterns without introducing a new miss in the other direction.

How it shows up on video
From a face-on camera angle, a push shot shows the ball starting right of the target and continuing in that direction. The telltale body pattern that produces a push is visible from face-on as the arms appearing to be "stuck" behind the body rotation. This means the hands and club exiting the impact zone to the right rather than following through toward the target. From a down-the-line angle, a push path shows the club traveling in-to-out through impact. This means crossing the target line from inside to outside rather than traveling along or slightly to the inside after impact.
Common mistakes
- Aiming left to compensate for pushes — this accommodates the bad habit rather than fixing it. If the path is in-to-out and the face is square to the path. This moves aim further left just produces a bigger push or, with a face that is now left of the path, a hook.
- Confusing a push with a block — a push travels straight right; a block travels right and may have a slight fade. Both have in-to-out paths, but the face-to-path relationship differs. Understanding which you have matters because the fix is slightly different.
- Over-correcting into a left miss (pull or hook) — adding excessive out-to-in path to fix a push will produce pulls or hooks. The target is a neutral path (0° to +2°), not a significant swing in the other direction.
- Assuming push = in-to-out path without confirming. This means some pushes come from a delayed release that starts in the right direction but the face is open at impact. A launch monitor reading is the most reliable way to confirm path and face data rather than guessing from ball flight alone.
