Definition

Il tempismo del distacco è quando e quanto lontano una corridrice lascia la base in previsione di un pitch messo in gioco o di un tentativo di furto, richiedendo coordinazione con il punto di rilascio della lanciatrice.

Nel softball fast-pitch, le corridrici non possono lasciare la base finché la lanciatrice non rilascia la palla (a differenza della regola del distacco anticipato nel baseball).
